The North Cape Cruise is cancelled

Hammerfest, 08.06.2010:

Due to sudden changes regarding transportation we unfortunately have to cancel the departures of the North Cape Cruise. We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

As an alternative, we wish to set up bus tours between Hammerfest and North Cape, which will be departing the same days as the North Cape Cruise.

Hammerfest, the northernmost town in the world, has become a modern place where the contemporary settlement has slowly but surely overtaken the post-war architecture. The town’s history is quite fascinating, including the Pomor trade, several city fires, fisheries and hunting, energy and gas. Welcome to Hammerfest!

Europe’s northernmost point, the North Cape cliff, towers majestically, 308 meters above the Barents Sea. The North Cape has always been an important landmark and major attraction to people from around the world.
